It’s true. We lost the episode on a sea voyage a few years back. We’ve still got our sailor contacts looking for it.

Next time you’re at the beach, please keep your eyes open for it.

I’ll be sure to keep an eye out. What do podcasts look like when they’re outside of iTunes or my iPod. Especially audio only podcasts…

I saw a documentary about a dolphin without a tail yesterday. I’m 99% certain he’s the one who stole it. Now we just need to figure out where he hid it…

I have a feeling there never was a 1st episode… there was some reference to the 1st episode in like the 14th episode, or the “favorites of 2006” episode, but Garrett quickly changed the subject :)

I figured that if it’s not available for download(in the feed) then the MRPC crew didn’t want it distributed.

@Kyle Hayes Good find! Although, technically, that’s not the first episode of the show as we know it. While that’s named “Episode 1,” it’s really just a test episode playing with the podcast format.

That’s my friend Kevin Pang (who you might remember from other episodes) on the other end of the line in that audio.

There’s still a missing episode of the actual show. We’ve got several bounty hunters in the jungles of various continents currently narrowing down the location of that first episode and we hope to find it soon…

If that means what I think it means – awesome.

Methinks there’s be a time machine type episode :D
