The Ship

I got this a couple days ago and I figured some of you may be interested. The Ship (TS from now on) is a ridiculously addictive game of half-clue half-quake. At the start of each round, you are assigned a quarry, who you must track down and kill. Someone is also assigned to track down and kill you. The goal? Kill your quarry with any weapon you can find (from Tommy-guns to Dummy Arms, and everything in between) while keeping an eye out for your hunter. I really have been enjoying it so far. Almost every round has some crazy/awesome/funny little event, like when you beat your quarry to death with a Croquet mallet, only to have your hunter light you on fire with a flare gun. One cool thing that happened to me: A few days I was running away from my hunter, who had chased me halfway across the ship, swinging an Axe like there was no tomarrow. Out of nowhere his hunter runs out and smashes his face in with a frying pan. All I heard was a loud PANG, and a scream. I walked back to see who had basically saved my life. Turned out, it was my quarry…A little flick of my Razor, and my quarry was gone :D . Here’s the website for all interested: http://theshiponline.com/ |

If I had a nickel for everytime somebody saved my life with a frying pan I would be a very wealthy man. |

Always thought about buying that. Sounds like it might be more my speed than TF2. TF2 is crack-fast. |
I wanna get TF2, but source games crash like crazy on my comp. I’m sure the new ones would do even worse… |
Most importantly; is it free? |
$15. Haven’t played it recently, been playing TF2 |
Yea I was wrong about TF2. It’s amazing. WOOTSNPRPWNAGE! |

The Ship is 9.98 on clearance at Target. Picked it up off the end-cap. |

How do you you like it? |
I’m liking it, it’s very clever. At this point I think I actually prefer the single player part. The multi-player was fun too, though. |

Somehow after playing this game for a few hours one day, it gave me horrible, horrible nightmares. I don’t know what it is about it and I almost never get nightmares, maybe it’s the idea that I was being stalked all the time. Who knows, but it’s break time I think. |

Yeah same happened to me. I’ve never looked at tennis raquets, BBQ forks or khukris the same way again… |
